Beta Alanine
Beta-alanine is an amino acid precursor for carnosine; a molecule that helps buffer lactic acid build-up in the muscle that could otherwise decrease performance. Ingesting beta-alanine can increase your endurance and number of reps in your workout. It is well known for its harmless side effect; a tingling sensation you feel on your lips and/or skin that can coincidentally make you want to train harder. The fourth generation C4 has bumped up its dose compared to previous versions, and now has 1600mg.
Creatine Nitrate (NO3-T™)
Creatine Nitrate is 10x more water soluble than other forms of Creatine. This means that it requires a smaller dose per bodyweight and is more efficient of producing ATP energy for quick bursts of power during intense exercise.
Arginine AKG
Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AAKG) is a variant on the conditionally essential amino acid, Arginine, which is a pre-cursor in Nitric Oxide (NO) production. Supplementation increases vasodilation within the body in order to improve blood flow and therefore oxygenation of the active muscle tissues while exercising. 1000mg AAKG in C4 Pre-Workout ensure that you will get an effective “pump” that will have you looking bigger, and recovering faster between sets.
L-Tyrosine
Tyrosine is a conditionally essential amino acid that is used to produce noradrenaline and dopamine. Small doses can help decrease stress and improve mood and anxiety. C4 has 200mg per serve.
Caffeine
Caffeine helps improve attention and alertness, also helps increase strength and endurance. Caffeine appears to help physical exercises, fitness and gym training, this effect may arise from its anti-fatigue effects and by improving endurance, strength and power output. Also Caffeine is a popular ingredient in weight management supplements, as it helps increase energy and improve metabolic rate that helps prevent weight gain.
Theacrine
Behaves very similar to caffeine, yet has way less tolerance issues and users do not appear to become desensitised with regular use. Also modulates the release of Neurotransmitters associated with enhanced mood
Vitamin C, Niacinmide, Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin B12 – This vitamin combination is added to help maintain nerve and muscular health by combating oxidative stress, consequently improving exercise endurance.
